The WSRR provides freight service for industrial clients in Ellen City, Grant’s Pass, Danville, and Waverly.  Passenger service is provided at all locations with the main passenger terminal located in Ellen City.  Interchange service with NS is provided at Grant’s Pass and with CSX in Danville via the WSRR.  WSRR’s main freight yard and locomotive servicing terminal are located in Waverly.

The Tiger Railway is a narrow gauge shortline that operates out of Grant’s Pass and serves Beauford, Duke and Bear’s Den.  Bear’s Den is a logging community located at the base of Hank’s Ridge.  Beauford is a coal mining community on the opposite side of Hank’s Ridge from Bear’s Den.  Duke lies just beyond Beauford and is an agricultural region.

The WSRR has beautiful vistas as it crosses landmarks such as Rebar Gorge, Lake Tippy, Lilly Falls, and the River Casey.
